The

Unusually
for a first-floor apartment, you will have a private garden with
outdoor furniture and barbecue. There are mature trees, including
two lovely silver birch trees which complement the garden's white & silver
theme.

Shopping |
| |
|
Five
minutes' stroll and you are at the boulangerie clutching your
crusty baguette and bag of buttery croissants.
Next
door you'll find the Newsagent (English papers available), and
nearby the butcher, fishmonger (seafood a local speciality, of
course) and charcuterie - the self-caterer's temple! - with delicious
cooked meats and dishes ready to eat. Buy your fruit in the street
market from a superb selection.
|
|
|
The
shopkeepers and assistants are all helpful and are used to pointings
and nods! Or you could visit one of the two mini-supermarkets
on foot. The local larger Champion is five minutes
away by car.
The
Thursday morning market in La Roche-Bernard is one of the highlights
of the week, so cameras and shopping bags at the ready! |
